On October 26th, 2024, the IMarEST Cyprus Branch proudly celebrated its 30th Anniversary with a spectacular Annual Gala Dinner Dance. The evening was graced by the presence of honorary guests, Deputy Minister of Shipping Mrs. Marina Hadjimanolis and IMarEST CEO Mr. Chris Goldsworthy, alongside distinguished guests from the island’s shipping community.
The event began with a charming reception on the hotel’s veranda, where guests mingled and enjoyed the delightful ambiance. Following the reception, everyone moved to the grand ballroom for inspiring speeches by the honorary guests and the Chairman of the Institute.
A special highlight of the evening was the handover of a cheque from the charity motorbike ride organized by the IMarEST in collaboration with SKF. The funds raised were donated to the Mission to the Seafarers, reflecting the branch’s commitment to supporting the maritime community.
After grace, led by the Reverend, guests were treated to an exquisite 4-course dinner that left a lasting impression. The night culminated in an electrifying performance by the live band Minus-One, who got everyone dancing and ensured the celebrations continued in high spirits until the very end.
